Eye exams, pricing & appointments

How much does an eye exam cost?

For patients without insurance, our comprehensive eye exam is $145 and includes an ocular health check, a glasses prescription, and retinal imaging. With insurance, your cost depends on your specific plan and copay; if retinal imaging isn't covered by your plan, it's an additional $39.

If you need a contact lens prescription, a contact lens fitting is required in addition to your exam. Fittings start at $85, with the final price based on the type of lenses you need (toric, multifocal, etc.). Contact lens fittings are typically not covered by insurance.

Do you accept my insurance?

Yes! We accept most major medical and vision plans, including:

Medical insurance

  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • UMR
  • Humana
  • Medicare

Vision plans
