These terms apply to your use of envisioneyeaustin.com, operated by Envision Eye Center. By using this site you agree to them.

This website is not medical advice

The content on this site is general information about eye health and the services we offer. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for an examination. Never delay seeking care because of something you read here.

If you have sudden vision loss, eye pain, an eye injury, or new flashes and floaters, contact us immediately or go to an emergency room.

Using this site or messaging us through it does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are seen at the practice.

Text messaging program

If you give consent, Envision Eye Center may send you text messages about appointments, recalls, orders that are ready, and practice updates.

How to join. You opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, in person, by phone, or through the chat on this site.
Message frequency. Varies depending on your appointments and orders.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages; your carrier may.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop. You will receive one confirmation message.
How to get help. Reply HELP, or call (512) 271-6677.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent is not a condition of care. You can decline texts and still book, be seen and be treated exactly as normal.

Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Appointments and cancellations

Appointments booked through the scheduling link on this site are subject to confirmation by the practice. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so that the slot can go to another patient.

Products and prescriptions

Eyewear and contact lens orders are subject to the terms provided at the time of purchase. Custom-made prescription lenses are made to your specification and are generally not returnable. We will always try to make things right, and we handle exceptions case by case at our discretion. Your prescription is yours, and we will release a copy to you on request, as the law requires.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, to attempt unauthorized access, or to submit anything false or misleading.

Intellectual property

The content, branding and design of this site belong to Envision Eye Center or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Third-party brand names are the property of their owners.

Third-party links

This site links to services we do not control, including our online frame gallery, our scheduling system and our contact lens ordering portal. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Envision Eye Center is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your rights as a patient.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
